Since becoming hooked on endurance type gravel and mountain bike races about 10 years ago I've ridden in events like the Dirty Kanza 200, the Mahh Daah Hey 100, Leadville, Almanzo, the Lutsen 99er and many more. I've also bike-packed across the Colorado Rockies and Utah desert a few times, just for good measure. NormOnTheRocks.com is a place for me to capture and share a record of my adventures.
The 100K Encierro Velo wound predominantly through cattle & horse ranches, with occasional rock outcroppings on the edges of a wash or the crest of a hill and mountains in the western distance. A great start to my 2018 racing season.
The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) raises money to help people with physical challenges pursue an active lifestyle through physical fitness and athletics. By making a donation towards my fundraising goal you will provide individuals with physical challenges with the tools necessary to find success in sports — and in life!
We're moving to Colorado. And I'm fired up about it.
But it is hard leaving the scene here in Minneapolis. The cycling community and infrastructure here are absolutely incredible. And it was in Mpls where I really got hooked.
